The Jordon Lenamon Foundation had the honor to present two $500 scholarships to two Pearland High School students. The students were required to complete an application process and had to qualify based on certain criteria set forth by the Foundation. Congratulations to the two students!
In honor of Jordon, The Jordon Lenamon Foundation was born. In two short years, the Foundation has raised funds and donated to Oiler Strong at Pearland High School and will be awarding two scholarships this week to Pearland High School students.
In addition to supporting students at PHS, the Foundation conducted a search for a non-profit organization with a mission to train emotional support animals, specifically for individuals with mental health needs. The Foundation chose to partner with Scout’s Legacy and is proud to announce the sponsorship to train SIX animals for individuals needing financial assistance. The Foundation would not have been able to contribute to these organizations without the support and love from Jordon’s family and friends. To visit Scout's Legacy, click here. |
ABOUT JORDON
Jordon, nicknamed Jo, had a love for animals and spent her days surrounded by them. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and draw beautiful pictures. Jo also enjoyed doing crafts. She would often deem a “craft day” and pull out all her items, gather friends and family and create something new. Jo loved to be outdoors and enjoyed camping and her kayak. She always had a smile for others, a beautiful laugh and was a great listener. Jo brought joy to others but could not find that joy for herself.
